Ice Cube Stars In New Film About L.A. Police Corruption

Ice Cube’s new film “Rampart” also stars Woody Harrelson and centers around the scandals that took place in the Los Angeles Police Department in the 1990s, showcases police misconducts in the Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums (CRASH) anti-gang program including unprovoked shootings, beatings, planting of evidence, framing of suspects, stealing and dealing narcotics, bank robbery, perjury and covering up evidence.

Ice Cube is set to play a LAPD officer alongside Foster, who are colleagues with Harrelson’s character, an LAPD officer on a redemptive journey who finds himself embroiled in scandal.

The LAPD, which has widely been criticized for the mishandling of the murder cases of the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac, have denied allegations that they have ever hired criminals to work as officers in the division.

But according to retired robbery-homicide detective Russell Poole in the critically acclaimed book “Labyrinth”, the police knowingly hired gang members David Mack and Rafael Pérez who were well known throughout the Blood community.

Rampart is scheduled to hit theatres on January 27th 2012.

I would like to introduce this Rap artist from Compton California, his name is Tyga ( his real name is Michael Nguyen) who is the cousin of Travis McCoy who is the lead vocalist for Gym Class Heroes.
He recently been nominated  for a 2011 Grammy for “Deuces" a collaboration with  Chris Brown.

Tyga now part of Lil Wayne’s Young Money crew putted out his first mixtape "Young on Probation" in 2007 and had a breakthrough after he opend for the  Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes on the Young Wild Tour.

wild prekers The Author of this post is Velma Baird Today after I got home from work, I had a massive headache. I teach pre-k, which you would think wouldn’t be a stressful job, but the kids really get out of control. Today we had an early Halloween party. Anytime that you pump four and five year olds with lots of sugar and caffeine from drinking Coke, you know that it is going to get rowdy in the classroom. I have twenty three kids and only one teachers aide. Trying to keep talking at a minimum is tough! Anyway, after the party, the kids were literally hanging from the ceiling. It was just one of those days that made you want to give up on teaching, quit your job, and just relax all day and watch direct.tv. I have decided that for the Christmas party, we are going to have Sprite instead of Coke to curb the caffeine intake. We are also not going to have so many sweets. I don’t know that I can take another day like that, I felt like the kids were running wild at Chuck-E-Cheese!
